Connie and Brian: Anytime

I love getting to catch up with old friends. And by old friends I mean friends that are OLDER than me! Heeheee Whoooh…man I’m funny… Now wait, before you think I’m being mean I would like for you to read an excerpt from an email I received from Connie back in July…and I quote, “I talked to Brian and we’ve (I’ve) decided that it’s time for us to have our pictures taken by someone who knows what they’re doing.  No one was available, so I thought of you.” Yep, that’s right…Connie’s on to me! ;-) In all seriousness I had the pleasure of working with Connie when I was a Network Engineer for Saunders Construction. She’s always been fun and willing to dish it out just as much as I’ve been able to give it. So, when I had the opportunity to catch up with her and her husband of 9 years, Brian, I couldn’t wait! Have a look at their slide show below.

Connie and Brian, thank you for this opportunity to get reacquainted and to hang out in God’s country. You were both great sports and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Enjoy your slide show!

Casey & Friends…

“Flurries and cold this Friday evening leading into Saturday,” was the forecast for a very important Saturday photo shoot originally scheduled for outside. After several e-mail’s back and forth with Marcy we decided we could just photograph around her house and we’d make the best of it. Saturday morning came and I anxiously peered outside expecting the worst and got the best. Partly cloudy skies and not a snow flake to be found!

As I got to Marcy’s house she greeted me with a hug (it’s great getting to catch up with old friends). Kevin, her husband, was on the couch feeding their new baby girl, Casey. We were all pleasantly surprised by the weather and decided to resume with our original plan of a family photo setting at a beautiful outside location.

Casey, as you will see below, is one of the cutest baby’s you’ll ever see. Her cheeks are so big you want to just squeeze them all day. She was so mild mannered that she made my job that much easier. To be that cute and well behaved is a photographer’s dream.

I had the privilege of working with Marcy when I was at Saunders Construction. It was because of people like her that made my leaving Saunders so difficult. I’m thankful that my photography is just one way in which I can continue to stay in contact with old friends. Below are some of my favorites from the session. Thank you Marcy, Kevin and Casey for a wonderful Saturday! :-)

Autumn Fun

It was a warm overcast Saturday in November as the Linder family headed north to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Three of their favorite things were waiting for them. Homemade Belgian waffles, freshly raked leaves, and a local craft fair. It started with brunch and the boys ate their fill to be well energized for the festivities that lie ahead. It wasn’t the fantastic flavor of brunch that caused the boys to wolf down their meal this time. It was the giant pile of leaves that Grandpa had raked in the back yard that was screaming their names. As the men boys went out back to work play. The ladies hit up the local craft fair at the local high school.

This has been an annual tradition for our family since the boys were just babies. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Click on the thumbnails to see the bigger pictures.
