Joe & Audrey

Next month I have been blessed with the opportunity to capture Joe & Audrey’s wedding. I was ecstatic when they decided to do an engagement session. I’ve been blessed with the people I’ve had the opportunity to photograph and Joe & Audrey are no exception. Just as an example of how cool this couple is, they’re coming back a day early from their honeymoon because…Broncos home opener baby! Oh…and it was Audrey’s suggestion!

Joe and Audrey, I hope you had as good of a time as I did during your engagement session. I can hardly wait for your big day! It’s going to be FABULOUS! :-)

Here are some of my favorites from their photo shoot!

Erica & Bryan – Engagement Photos

After several attempts to coordinate schedules we finally met at Red Rocks for Erica and Bryan’s engagement photo shoot. Between my directions and Bryan driving we ultimately had to rely on the cell phone to coordinate a rendezvous point. That’s what you get with two proud males at the wheel. ;-) Once we found each other we were taken in by the beauty of Red Rocks. This was a good thing because we had two strikes against us. The cold and the wind. Erica hates the cold and Bryan hates the wind. Fortunately, they were great sports and once we got going it was like I couldn’t take a bad picture. As much as I’d like to take credit for being that good, in reality, Erica and Bryan have great chemistry in front of the camera and it was effortless. I was just there to capture the moments.

Thank you both for a great time. I truly enjoyed getting to hang out with the two of you. I’m VERY excited for your wedding in May and looking forward to capturing more beautiful images of your special day. Below are some of my favorites from today’s session. Enjoy!

Sarah & Sam’s Engagement

They had known each other since middle school but it wasn’t until College that they fell in love. Sam had an opportunity to go to California for his bachelor’s degree and Sarah couldn’t be without him so she decided to leave her close knit family and go with him. It wasn’t long and she couldn’t bear being so far away from her family. She had to go home no matter how much she loved Sam. Having seen Sarah drop everything and follow him out to California and the sacrifices she made he couldn’t let her go. So, he packed up his things and this time he followed her back to Colorado. True Love!

I used to work with Sam’s dad at Saunders Construction. He’s one of those people that your better off having known him. Dwight’s humor and positive outlook on life is truly inspiring. The difference is with Dwight, he was this way every day while he stood by his wife’s side as she battled cancer. A battle she would lose. Dwight’s love and devotion to his wife is what love songs are written for. With Sam, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. His love for Sarah is palpable and you can see the look of love in her eyes when she looks back at him.

Their engagement session was, in a word, AWESOME! These two were up for anything and their photos turned out amazing. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in July! Below are some of my favorites. If you want to see more click here for their slideshow.
