Yesterday I had the challenge er privilege of photographing my…step-cousin-in-law?!? Let’s see, it was my wife’s step mother’s brother’s daughter. Kinda reminds me of that song I’m My Own Grandpa. Anyway, it’s fun when you photograph family because there’s a certain sense of familiarity and you you can call them challenging even if they aren’t! Truth is Courtney was a good sport for not liking to have her picture taken, which makes no sense, cause she’s a beautiful girl with a killer smile…or really expensive smile according to dad. Speaking of her dad, I think he was most impressed with my voice activated light stand that I brought along with me (inside joke, but trust me Courtney’s laughing right now). Honestly, I had a blast with this one and it’s always such fun getting to spend time with Courtney and her family. Thank you for this experience.

I have to say that I have really enjoyed my Senior photoshoots. It’s fun getting to hang out with these kids with nothing but their future ahead of them. Jeanie was so much fun and since she is part of the Color Guard for her high school we got to play with her rifle…OK, it wasn’t real, but man can she spin that thing. She would throw it 15 feet up in the air and catch it like it was nothing. Oh…and it was fun to photograph…click play below to see!
