“I want something unique and original. Not the same ol’ stuff that everyone else has!” This is something that immediately endeared me to Hillary. Senior photos should be about THAT senior…not EVERYOTHER senior. The fact that Hillary got that and chose me to capture her at this stage of her life was both humbling AND a true privilege. At Rock Canyon high school she’s a part of the journalism program and even does the high school news casts. As you’ll see from her pictures, the camera loves her. So seeing her in these images as a news reporter on scene isn’t a big stretch.
Some props have to be given to Hillary’s sister who was my voice activated light stand and was instrumental in helping to light her sister. Actually, Hillary’s whole family took turns and was a huge support. Hillary, thank you for entrusting me with your senior photos, inviting me into your life and introducing me to your amazing family! I wish you nothing but the best and am excited for what the future has in store for you!
